Conference Overview

Take a drive from the airport to the city center of any mid-sized American city. It seems as if every third building along the way has a sign with the name of some type of healthcare enterprise. This is especially true for cities like Indianapolis, and it is why iiBIG’s 5th Fall “Investment and M&A Opportunities in HEALTHCARE,” will be held in Indianapolis, November 5, 2015 (Thursday).

Our Midwest Healthcare M&A conference in the fall (which follows our annual spring event in Nashville) provides an opportunity for exciting healthcare companies located in the American heartland to participate. With M&A activity in all sectors on the rise, deal-flow in the healthcare space will continue to lead the pack. And we’ve drastically reduced registration fees for entrepreneurial healthcare providers, in order to introduce them to a conference where they can learn more about how to grow through acquisitions, or to obtain the capital and partners they need to grow organically.


The Agenda

Our 2015 Fall Conference in Indianapolis, will feature an executive speaking faculty of over 30 leading experts who will participate in panel and round table sessions. Each conference session will include participation by 3 to 5 professionals with specific expertise in the session topic.  Each session is presented in a roundtable format to encourage lively and informal interaction between panelists and audience members. 

STATE of the HEALTHCARE INDUSTRY

The conference opens with this Keynote panel representing transaction services professionals, healthcare leaders, investors and payers on the business and investment opportunities and prospects for 2016 & beyond. Among the issues to be discussed:

  • The Affordable Care Act: How has implementation of the ACA affected deal-making in the healthcare sector (so far)?
  • How will the ACA fare during the last year of the Obama Administration and, depending on which party wins the White House in 2016, how will the administration of the ACA be likely to change in 2017 and beyond. How will these possible changes affect deal-making in this sector?
  • Will payer/payer and provider/provider consolidations drive healthcare costs up or down?
  • Who will lead deal-flow activity, payers or providers?
  • How will other strategic and financial buyers fare in 2016 and beyond?
  • Will the trend toward payer/provider convergence continue?

The block of sleeping rooms at the Hilton Downtown Indianapolis for conference attendees at the reduced rate of $149.00 (plus tax) per night expired on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
