GEORGE KENT, Managing Director, Capital Markets

George Kent joined iiBIG as Managing Director Capital Markets in September, 2008 to focus on financial sector opportunities. He has 30 years' banking and finance experience both domestically and internationally; and almost 10 years' experience producing executive-level conferences and business development opportunities for decision-makers in the financial industry.

George joined Citibank in 1970 and held posts in Europe and the Pacific before returning to Citibank's international headquarters in New York in 1976. Responsibilities during this period included credit analysis, sovereign risk surveillance and international leasing and asset based lending. In 1980 he joined J.P. Morgan, first to set up affiliated leasing vehicles in Europe, Asia and South America, and later moved to JP Morgan Securities to work in the field of asset-backed securities. In 1995, he joined Bank Boston Securities where he continued working in asset-backed and asset-backed commercial paper.

In 2000, George retired from banking – and has devoted his expertise into producing over 70 executive conferences, primarily in the field of finance.

George and his wife Carol make their home in the Brandywine Valley in PA and are the proud parents of Christopher and Christina. George and Carol have 4 Pembroke Welsh Corgis and spend their free time at the gym, restaurants, traveling, gardening and reading.
