Business Development
A twenty-eight year veteran of the conference industry, Hank Woji entered the field as a sales executive in 1997 with international conference company Marcus Evans, at their flagship Madison Avenue office in New York City.
Within two years he was promoted to the level of Sales Director and oversaw operations for their entire sales division during the turbulent Dot.Com Boom of the late ‘90s. In 2001 Hank accepted a transfer to their new Houston Texas office and was tasked with recruiting and training that office’s entire sales staff and overseeing conferences primarily in the Energy Industry.
In 2003 Hank left Marcus Evans and accepted a position as Senior Accounts Executive with The Strategic Research Institute based in NYC and began working remotely from his Houston Texas home, when the concept of remote office work was still in its infancy. His specialty during these years was working in Financial Services and Multi-Cultural Marketing Conferences. When SRI was purchased in 2007 by American Lawyers Media, Hank was downsized along with dozens of other SRI remote office executives and took a position with Connex International as a Senior Summits Executive and worked in coordinating their Conference and Summits business units primarily in the Financial Services division.
When the opportunity to join iiBIG as VP of Business Development presented itself in 2015, Hank jumped at the chance. Now entering his 11th year with the “new” iiBIG, Inc, Hank brings his extensive knowledge and expertise in the conference industry, in a multitude of industry sectors, to the next chapter of the International Institute for Business Information and Growth!
